The NFIP Flood Insurance Manual is revised twice a year - once in May and once in October. This year's October changes include updates to the Rating, Condominiums, Reference, and Community Rating System sections.

A special revision for January 1, 2011, is also included, to address the upcoming 2-year Preferred Risk Policy (PRP) extension. The specific changes are described in the Cover Memo for the October and January revisions.

The Memo from the Acting Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administrator, including a full list of the October 1, 2010, and January 1, 2011, revisions, is available online at: http://www.nfipiservice.com/pdf/Oct2010/change_pkg_main.pdf.
